My Project
My students come from hard family backgrounds. We have lots of poverty and violence in our homes and community. Many of my students come from single-parent families where they are struggling to get by and provide opportunities for fun and creativity in the households. I am trying to collect PE equipment specifically for dodgeball at this point. We have no safe balls to play and not hurt each other. I want to work on their social-emotional development, silly fun, competitiveness, safe fun, and after all, who doesn't love dodgeball!
