My Students

This project is for students in my Engineering Design class. I would like to get a powerful document camera to lead my students in their learning. If I can show how to make an isometric sketch or if I can demonstrate a CAD technique on the big screen for everyone, I can potentially prevent common mistakes and guide the students to create better and more complex items.

Other teachers for this course recommend the Elmo TT-12 document camera for its connections, zoom functions, resolution, and multi-directional camera.

With your help, all the students in my class will benefit and be encouraged to continue with more STEM-related courses in the future.

My Project

The design class I am teaching needs good examples for the students to make progress. Currently I must gather my students in small groups and show the same thing over and over. The students get bored and frustrated waiting for their turn to have my attention. With a document camera powerful enough for all the students to see the initial demonstration, I can make my small-group or one-on-one time more meaningful.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

The products I have selected will enrich our curriculum. I can take common mistakes and turn them into learning experiences for all, show amazing student work to others as examples and to foster pride in their work, and grow in confidence.
