Document Cameras are Great for Science Classrooms!
My students need to see what's going on. In a room with 32 students, a document camera will help all students access the information and demos I share.
"Seeing is believing." Nowhere is that more true than in a science classroom. With 32 bright and curious minds in the room at all times it can be difficult to ensure that everyone can see demonstrations, lab procedures and work on worksheets. Document cameras are priceless! (not literally)
My students are curious and hardworking!
Our population is primarily 1st and 2nd generation immigrants from South East Asia. They are hardworking and amaze me everyday with their drive and "grit". They love hands-on activities and labs, which we do weekly.
A picture is a thousand words! Imagine seeing exactly what your teacher is doing while she explains a lab. Imagine seeing exactly what your binder paper should look like when you turn in homework. All these things are possible when there is a document camera in the classroom.
Engaging 32 bright minds for 55 minutes a day, 5 days a week is challenging.
By using a document camera, I can ensure that all students have access the the information that is key to their success.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
