My Students
The students in my classroom are a special group of children. There are a variety of learning styles and needs within this special education classroom. All of the students require a great deal of support and tools to make learning be successful and fun.
I teach students with a variety of disabilities such as Autism, Down Syndrome, and Multiple Disabilities who are in first and second grade.
The students benefit from having high interest tools that foster creativity and imagination.
My Project
All students deserve to be able to access learning opportunities to their fullest potential. That is why the addition of a document camera is necessary for our classroom.
Adding a document camera to our classroom will allow for better visibility, flexibility and accessibility for all students.
A document camera is portable and flexible and can be used in a variety ways to enhance learning. It acts as a tool for tactile learning which is a necessity for all students learning opportunities and it allows for the creation of video lessons easily.
An addition of a document camera will serve as a wonderful teaching tool that will impact all current and future students in this classroom.
