Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Currently, I teach ESL students and students who require extra support in English due to low reading level scores.

My students are a mixture of English Language Learners, students from low-income areas, and students who need extra help adjusting to an English classroom.

These kids are excited to learn, be in this country, and be a part of the high school experience. With the help from those around them, they are able to achieve whatever they set their minds to.

My Project

With the money from this project, I will purchase a high definition document camera. Specifically, a IPEVO V4K. This is so all students can visually see my notes. This enables me to provide my ESL students with perfect writing samples for logs, paragraphs, essays, and more.

A document camera is a nifty tool that allows teachers to project writing onto their projector.

Further, they will keep these notes in their binders, so they can refer to them in the future. I will keep these binders in the classroom so they have a reference on a daily basis and do not lose them at home.
