This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The children in my classroom are from low-income housing. We have six children in the class, and each is special in their own way. For the majority of the children in the class, this is their first time in an online environment. The school is located in a low-income neighborhood as well.
Since this is the first time most of these children have been in “school”, I want them to experience the best virtual schooling can offer.
The children are very eager to learn and develop.
My Project
These materials will help enhance the students' virtual learning experience. The document camera will be used while I am teaching them virtually over Zoom. I will be able to show the students the books I am reading or the writing activity we are completing.
I feel that the students will be more connected and engaged with the document camera.
The document camera will help the children understand the information since they will be able to see the information on their screen, instead of me holding it up to the webcam.
