My Students

My students walk into my classroom everyday ready to learn new and exciting things! Being part of a Title 1 school, there are challenges that my students have to face and overcome daily. However, I have seen great success throughout the year from them!

I am always so excited to see their faces once they grasp a new concept!

I remind them that the sky is the limit, and no matter what they have gone through, they can always persevere and do their best! Their situation does not define them. We laugh, we have fun, we learn, but most of all we grow together.

My Project

In teaching 3rd grade, students need lots of modeling and guided practice on how to complete tasks and learning new strategies and standards. This document camera will help aide in the classroom for future learning.

By having this document camera, my students are able to see books live on the board, they are able to see exactly how to complete certain tasks and concepts, and help aide them in their learning process.

Being in a title 1 school, we do not always have access to books for every child. By having this camera, it provides each student the opportunity to view the books/notes/experiment, etc. It brings the learning to life and not just having it abstract.
