Due to Covid-19, my 21 students are currently learning from home. I have been using Google Classroom and implementing the use of Google Slides for my instruction. We are also using Google Meet for our virtual class meetings. I wish I had all the resources needed to make my students' learning more meaningful and productive, but I currently only have a laptop, which limits my instruction from being as interactive for my students as I would love it to be. For some students I have had to improvise by using cans and my cell phone to create my homemade document camera.
My students need to be provided with the best quality education through the use of direct and guided instruction, which can only be accomplished through the use of a document camera.
With the use of a document camera, I will be able to help give my students the best learning education.
I will be able to explain assignments in real-time by providing them with direct and guided instruction during our live virtual class meetings.
With the use of a document camera, I will also be able to create high quality videos such as book read alouds. Not only videos but a document camera will also help me deliver the best instruction possible without the use of cans and my cell phone to improvise as a document camera to project my books or handouts needed during my lessons. Explaining assignments will be much easier and productive with the use of this document camera!
