My Students

2nd grade is the best. My students are fabulous learners who love to explore. They are learning how to be vivacious readers and empathetic humans. Our classroom is a community where we encourage each other and celebrate the unique gifts of all. All my students are energetic and love when we incorporate movement and songs into the curriculum. They also enjoy showing off their hard work and helping other students understand a concept when they are struggling. Our class is a family.

My Project

We need a document camera! Document cameras help students engage in learning it allows them to show student work and helps everyone in the room see. I am hoping to boost students' confidence by allowing them to help teach using the document camera as well. Showing them that their voice matters. Document cameras also help teachers to explain corrections with ease and show examples without standing in front of them while talking. Document cameras help to integrate technology into a classroom and show students a variety of ways to use technology. My students have the inner motivation to be successful, they just need the tools to support them!
