My Students

As a Teacher at a Title I school, I am faced with the job of helping students achieve on grade level. Some of my students are 1-2 grade levels behind in reading. They work very hard each day during their reading class and constantly amaze me!

My students love coming to school and are excited to learn!

The second they walk through the door, I am encouraging them to reach their full potential in reading. I am always looking to provide my students with meaningful and engaging experiences to help them learn.

My Project

I want to be able to provide my students with instant feedback on their writing. With a document camera I will be able to pull their writings samples. I will be able to show great samples, and explain what makes the great. I can also show samples that may need a little work, and explain where and why they may need work. I'd be able to show these samples anonymously.

They love instant feedback.

Being able to correct or give instant feedback to my students will be able to expand their learning abilities.

Using a document camera not only will I be able to address writing, but use hands on manipulatives. This will help me reach even more students by giving them different strategies to help solve problems.
