Our school is in a community that is supportive, however very low income. The students in my room range from low-income to higher income. With this disparity comes a fluctuation of abilities. However, I do note that all my students seem to be very curious and eager to be at school.
They are hard-working and keep me jumping on a daily basis with their perseverance in solving problems.
The reward comes at the end of every day when I reflect on their excitement in solving problems and learning new things. Every night when my head hits the pillow, I know that I found the perfect profession for me.
After struggling this year for a way to help my students share the assignments they've created, I decided it is time for a new document camera. They will not only be able to share what they have done, I will be able to share new methods of doing things that they will be much more visible.
They will be able to see what I see!
I think it will bring us together as a community in a fun and exciting way. I anticipate their eagerness to share what they have done, and learn from each others successes and mistakes! A document camera will be a needed resource.
