My Students

My students come from all different types of backgrounds and cultures. My homeroom alone includes ten different languages! This school has an impressively strong sense of community, as well. It is truly unparalleled how our school community can come together for the common goal of helping each other grow. These students deserve nothing but the best!

We are diverse and value working collaboratively.

Our students are engaged learners! The students are challenged to think critically and to become problem solvers. Our students are also part of STEAM classes, and they love incorporating technology when our resources allow.

My Project

I am requesting a document camera that works with my new smartboard projector. Before my system was changed I used my document camera a ton for math and science modeling math steps, and doing science demonstrations. My hope is to give my old one to someone who still has an old system. Hopefully they can use it even though it never came with set up instructions.

Having a working document camera will make such a huge impact in my classroom.

I am preparing to begin a matter unit in science which will be awesome for showing demonstrations. We are also going to be learning about light and using prisms. Coming up shortly I will also be doing math remediation. It will be so helpful to have the camera for showing steps to math problems. I am excited at the thought of completing this technology!
