My students need this document camera because our current one is no longer working. We use this every single day for every single subject. Modeling is HUGE in second grade!
I have a wonderful class of 2nd graders that are highly motivated to learn. They absolutely love reading and come to school ready to learn EVERY single day!

I have a diverse group of learners that have amazing personalities. I love teaching them and want them to have the best! It is not only my job to teach them the curriculum, but to foster a love for learning.

My Project
We use a document camera for so many different things including students modeling their work, teacher modeling, read-alouds, and much more! We had a document camera that stopped working and we really miss it. The students are trying to show the class their math work and it is very hard to see without the document camera. Read-alouds are done on the document camera as well because it is the only way for all 23 students to get a clear visual of the illustrations. With students sitting so far away, I truly believe they miss out during this time without the document camera. The document camera also encourages fluency growth because students can read aloud as I present various types of information.
Another benefit to the document camera is it is great for the environment.
The document camera enables us to use a lot fewer copies because assignments can be displayed for all to see instead of printing a class set.
