My students are very eager to learn each and every day, but we are a small district with very limited resources. Many times the learning opportunities of my students are restricted to the few supplies we have on hand or what I can scrape together with the help of my co-workers.
They inspire me every day with their constant desire to learn.
Making personal connections with the most at risk students are critical to their academic success. Supplying basic needs is essential for their academic growth.
My Project
Individual earbuds will be a wonderful addition to the new Chromebooks that students will have access to in the fall. For the first time, we will be 1:1 with the Chromebooks in 3rd grade. Our school is an open setting, yes, that means no walls! So keeping the level of noise at a reasonable level is essential.
Students love using technology!
Having their own earbuds will enable many students to focus more successfully on the lesson that is being presented. It will become second nature to grab the earbuds and get started.
