My students walk into our classroom every day full of hope and promise, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I challenge them each and every day to learn something new and share it with me the next morning. I want them to know I believe in them, and they can do anything.
I teach a diverse and energetic group of amazing 4th graders!
My students are eager to learn each and every day. They encompass all socioeconomic levels and have a diverse set of experiences that make our classroom like no other. My scholars believe in themselves because they know that I believe in them. They fully understand that good is not good enough. I expect greatness each and every day.
In my classroom, we are fortunate enough to have 1 to 1 chrome books. My scholars and I enjoy using this technology for a variety of reasons. We create multimedia presentations, we work on various content-based programs, as well as coding. My scholars enjoy creating videos of themselves that can be shared with parents. More importantly, the headphones and computers allow students access to reading and writing material that they would not normally be able to read and write through dictation software.
Often times, our headphones are not durable enough to withstand the entire school year.
This leaves students at a disadvantage to others that may have functional headphones.
Your support in providing each student with a pair of durable headphones will unlock many opportunities that allow students to meet their optimal growth! Do you hear what we hear? We sure hope so!
