My students are from a low income economic area. Our community has recently been impacted extremely hard from the coal crisis. We have lost millions of dollars in funding. My students need earphones in order to participate in the classroom. My students have numerous disabilities such as hearing impairment, vision impairment, dyslexia or learning disabilities, emotional disabilities as well as mental disabilities.
My students will be able to do all or most of their assignments using technology.
Headphones would help my students to be able to participate in the regular classroom because they can listen to stories on their Chromebooks. They can listen quietly while the rest of the class is reading silently. Also, they don't have to be embarrassed by having attention drawn to them because someone else is reading to them.

Headphones and a listening station will be very beneficial to my students. Headphones and listening station will make it possible for my students to listen quietly to reading passages.
Headphones will enhance my students' learning by providing more learning opportunities by making it possible for them to be more independent.
Students will be able to listen to reading passages instead of having someone read the passages to them. The listening station makes it possible to utilize technology to the maximum because up to 8 students can be connected to a Chromebook at one time. Students can also reread passages or check comprehension.
