My Students

My students are amazing! Wonderful things happen in our school everyday! Our school is a Title I school with a large percentage of minority students. Many of the students live in the city or poor communities in our area. All students receive free breakfast, lunch and snack daily. These students are very social and therefore I try to create a social environment in my classroom where they can work with partners and in small groups daily. We strive to create a safe and comfortable environment in our school.

My Project

My students use computers daily in my classroom. I assign courses on Schoology, they create google docs and google slides, and use other websites for instruction.

Having a headset for each student makes the environment more conducive to learning since I work with small groups while others are on their devices.

Being able to block out distractions for my computer users as well as my small group makes everyone more successful.

The splitters will allow students to work together on one computer while also using the headsets. Having headphones for each student and splitters for students to work together, the classroom will continue to run smoothly.
