Do You Hear What I Hear?
My students need more books on CD for our Listening Station.
My students are creative, active, and absolutely amazing! We are Title 1 School, but my students don't let that hold them back! As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. The majority of my students receive free or reduced lunches. Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best.
My kindergartners are enthusiastic and always eager to learn as soon as they enter the classroom every day!
I love to hear them say, "What are we doing today, Ms. W?" I am so blessed to be a part of their lives.
My students are in need of more books on CD for our Listening Station. We listen to a book on CD each week during our daily stations, and each child listens to this story at least two times during the week. I would love to have more variety in this learning station!
My students need to have many opportunities to hear lots of rhymes and patterns, since half of them are English Language Learners.
By listening to the story, students will be exposed to lots of new words that they haven't heard before. By hearing the words to the books, they can begin to read the words on the paper.
