Special Needs students need to move in a structured and positive way allowing for them to maintain focus for learning. My students are all eager to learn and have a thirst for knowledge. Each one of my students are special in their own way and I want to reach all of my students. Whether my students have ADHD, Autism, or any other special needs I want to make sure that all of my students have the outlets that they need.

Kinesthetic learners need to move around and experience a hands-on classroom in school. Allowing for my students to have new centers and guided reading and math materials with help them become more successful while learning.
My Project
My first grade students are learning to read. While they're learning to read they must read aloud. "One of the reasons this is true is because children must first be made aware of the individual sounds, or phonemes, in a word. Once they are aware of these phonemes, they begin to recognize that when these sounds are put together, they equal a word."
Giving my students Whisper Reader will allow them the chance to hear their teachers and themselves in a crisp and clear channel.
When we meet during guided reading their peers are at Literacy stations. It is a working room and the noise level can be distracting for my students. If they have Whisper phones that will eliminate the difficulties they may have while reading.
