My Students

My students are from a small town with working-class people, who value education as a way to get ahead in life. Many of them could be the first generation to go on to a post-secondary school. They all have dreams but so often those dreams get put on hold due to a lack of some basic items that will show them what is out there for them.

I feel like it is my duty as a teacher to show each of them that there are careers out there that they would succeed at and enjoy but so many of them don't even know that those careers are out there.

My Project

We are in dire need of some measuring tools and a set of wrenches. Right now we have a few tape measures that were brought in by myself and other staff that wanted to help out.

My students just need some better measuring tools so they can get an accurate measurements for their projects.

Along with that we need a set of wrenches. There is just a small box with some random wrenches in it, many are not in any shape to be used.

These measuring tools and set of wrenches will finally allow my students to use a quality tool that works properly. For far too long they have had to use old, rusty, out of date equipment.
