All students deserve a quality education. P. C. Academy is an inner-city school in Michigan. I'm asking donations to fund each student with their own journaling notebook. A concept so much more than learning to just draw pictures. A journal they can call their own. They will be learning how to make connections with their thoughts, drawing, poems, questions and innovate ideas to make meaning of their education. Journaling in Art Education can make connections with all subject areas, learn to organize thoughts and use experiences as references. I'm excited with your help to make this happen for my children at Paramount. Every little bit helps...build our future
My Project
My children will have the opportunity to let down their guard and express themselves in journal writing. They will write and sketch about their experiences, their questions and observations. A journal notebook about their feelings and their connections. A book of their culture, questions, affirmations and creativity. The ability to journal their innovative ideas in education. Sometimes students don't know where to start, with these journal notebooks I can guide students through the process of developing their thoughts and visions.
Students will use the journal notebooks to assist in memory, organization, processing strategies.
Please give a little so that my students can achieve a lot!
