This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are athletes, robotics programmers, and students who are interested in health and physical activity. I am also a coach of the baseball team at my school, coach of the Robotics Club, and an 8th grade science teacher.

I also am the primary Robotics FLL coach at my school.

The First Lego League is a group of students who are interested in building and programming robots. My team has been very successful in the competitions that they have participated in the past two seasons.

My Project

My Science class and Robotics club enjoy using technology, and most have seen drones on TV or online, but most of them have never flown their own drone. Drones have dominated the headlines in the last year as hobbyists have developed an increasing variety of uses for drones. Drones spark the imaginations of students and the interest in how drones work and how they can be used can be beneficial to our upcoming generation. I would like to give my students the opportunity to fly the drones themselves. The more positive experiences you give a child, the more opportunity you will give them later on on life.
