My students need computers to learn basic computer skills and conduct age-appropriate research. I am asking for an up to date Dell laptop computer.

My Students

I have 23 students and zero decent working computers. We live in a technology driven world and computers are essential to educating 21st learners. We are desperate for tools to teach basic computer and research skills.

Of my students who have access to technology at home, most use touch screens so they are clueless when it comes to using a keyboard and mouse.

Then I have a substantial number of students with no access to technology at all. Technology is an absolute must in today's world. What better time to introduce children to technology and prepare them for using technology in their academic careers than in kindergarten?

My Project

My students will be able to learn computer skills and conduct basic research as a result of having a working computer in our classroom. This will open up a whole new world to them while letting me teach them how to explore the Internet and computer games safely and responsibly.

This project will mean EVERYTHING to my students and will allow us to explore the world!

Putting technology in the hands of these 5 and 6 year olds has the potential to change their academic lives.
