My Students

My students represent all that we hope to be. Courageous, smart, loving, understanding, kind, and so much more. My students have such a wide variety of personalities and mindsets. I am so excited to lead such a well-rounded group of students.

Diversity makes us strong.

We all come from different walks of life, yet some way we all find a way to love one another. My class is a safe space—a space where students can be themselves, at all times.

My Project

Every day, I teach a class called Quest. Quest is a real and meaningful challenge (real work that real people do in real-world jobs) that helps you understand and practice skills that you will remember 20 years in the future! My quest is centered around force and motion. Our challenge is to create field day games using force and motion. Within our force and motion quest, we are also learning about gravity, air resistance, and Newton's Laws of Motion.

My goal is to provide my students with the opportunity of a lifetime.

During this field trip, students will break into groups of two and three to experiment with small parachutes. Together, the class builds a common understanding of how parachutes work, incorporating the concepts of force and terminal velocity learned during the lecture. Students can take home their experiment at the end of the day.

Every field trip includes:

-Interactive session hosted by our certified STEM educator including ball demo and application of lesson in the tunnel

-Proprietary teacher resources that include pre- and post-field trip packets, presentation overview, and lab worksheets

-Comprehensive flying and safety training session with a certified IBA instructor

-All flight gear included in the packages (suit, helmet, goggles, and earplugs)

-Flight time for every student, with one-on-one supervision from our highly trained, certified flight instructors

-Interactive lab activity to complete at the end of the flight experience

-Personalized flight certificate for each flyer signed off by their instructor

iFly is currently priced at $34.95 per child. With your help, we can lower the cost per child giving every student the opportunity to go on this exciting field trip.
