My Students

I am a middle school teacher that teaches Keystone, a class that explores the 16 Career Clusters. My 8th graders are a very unique group of students that engage in a variety of projects to explore careers.

By learning about different careers, these students are learning about themselves and what occupations may or may not want to pursue when they grow up.

It is very rewarding to see the students try new things and grow as individuals throughout the year.

My Project

Rat dissection is one of the most memorable experiences in a student's middle school career!

Do you remember your dissection experience in middle school?

I'm sure you do! Year after year, this is one of my students' favorite activities.

One of the career clusters the students explore in my class is Health Science. Through hands-on experience dissecting rats, the students learn about human biology and discover if a career in the medical field would be right for them.

Your donation would help provide the students at my school with the equipment needed to do rat dissections. The dissection tools would create a lab experience the students are sure to remember!
