My students are a diverse group of learners that are at a variety of academic levels. Reading can be challenging in first grade, but with hands-on manipulatives and technology reading becomes engaging and enjoyable task. My students are made up of ESE (special education) students as well as regular education students. They are hard workers who accept and conquer the challenges that are presented to them. Each and everyone of them bring a unique piece to to our learning environment which allows for such a rich experience in first grade.
My Project
iPads are a great piece of technology and engagement tool in the classroom develop life long learners. This world is filled with new opportunities that all involve technology every day. This is why I want to bring tech into my classroom and continue to open the door to using technology to access education.
Osmo and the Apple TV are both accessories that would allow for multiple differentiated lessons and independent learning centers.
To allow these tools to be more accessible to all students, I want to use the Speck iGuy iPad cases and Phonics Pebbles to address safety and sensory needs.
