Help me give my students picture dictionaries they can share to support their writing skills.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My first graders come to school every day excited to learn. Our school is home to children who come from 4 different temporary housing facilities. They look forward to a safe, nurturing environment with 2 hot meals.
We are helping our children become well-rounded citizens who will take social and academic skills into the future.
Once they pass through our doors they can learn, experiment, discuss, explore and leave the challenges of home behind. We take pride in nurturing the whole child.
First Graders have so many great ideas in their heads. They are creative, whimsical and clever. Struggling to spell and to sound out word parts can be frustrating and challenging to a beginning writer.
Beautifully illustrated color dictionaries offer a wonderful support to our writing program.
Students will learn to alphabetize while looking for rich vocabulary to use in their writing. Brightly colored photographs make finding words easy.
Children will enjoy the challenge of looking up words and will add details to their writing. With the confidence that a dictionary will give, they will be able to put those wonderfully creative thoughts into a writing piece they are proud of.
