This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come from a variety of backgrounds. They have hearing loss, vision loss and/or physical disabilities and range from ages 3-5. They are a determined group who will make great progress this year with the help of donors like you.

These students learn best from a variety of teaching methods such as hands-on learning, direct instruction, and modeling.

It is crucial that we give the children multiple ways to learn and the best opportunity to meet their sensory needs.

My Project

Our classroom needs new supplies for the upcoming school year. We will use the desk plate holders to help label their tables and students learn to identify their names. The marker holder will help organize our board and handwriting area. The laminator will allow us to complete projects within the classroom. It also gives us what we need to create safety measures such as backpack labels and bus assignment tags. Our birthday closet will be restocked with new stickers and hats.

These items will put our new school year off to a good start.

We are excited to see what this year will hold for us.
