My Students

I teach a group of unique and diverse learners. Our school is a Title 1 school which means we have a high percentage of students from low-income families. Many of our students receive free or reduced price lunches. We also have a high population of English Language Learners (ELL).

My second grade class is filled with playful and engaging students.

All differences aside, my students love coming to school and are always eager to learn. They love participating in hands-on, active and engaging projects that use their creativity.

My Project

We have faced many challenges and uncertainties this year. One thing that remains the same is providing students with the quality education that they deserve. Students learn best when they are engaged, even through distance learning.

Teachers Pay Teachers has a variety of engaging activities.

My class will be continuing with virtual learning for the rest of the school year. Many of the activities on Teachers Pay Teachers are now available in editable and digital resources. These activities will help to create learning from home more engaging for my students.
