My students need 6 copies each of 5 chapter books and 3 sets of themed chapter books.

Fifth Graders are reaching for higher goals in reading by challenging one another to read more each day at school!

My Fifth Graders are currently working hard to be successful in reading. Each reading group is working together to understand why a book has been written, what the author's purpose of the book is, and what the story is all about. My students want and are willing to be challenged. The problem is that we do not have enough challenging books in our classroom. When student expectations are set high, we need to achieve them together!

We are asking for several chapter book sets. This will allow students to challenge each other and to gain higher scores in reading.

This project is important to our classroom because we are not able to go out and purchase these books ourselves. Receiving these books will allow lower readers to set goals for themselves and to really enjoy reading. If a child can read, they can achieve in anything!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
