This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will continue to enhance the fine motor-rich classroom that I strive to create. Art in my classroom is a place my students really enjoy: We create at tables, and they complete work there, and create independently! It is a unique creation with love and care, to highlight the importance of why these days exist, and that no matter how small the detail, what really matters is the intention. All these manipulatives have been chosen with my students in mind. I've seen them over the past few weeks at school bringing things like these into the classroom, and I've also asked them what kind of toys they'd like to make. Students will be able to choose their card, which will help them continue to enjoy independent art time.

With these new manipulatives, my students will be able to choose from a variety of parts to create that will allow them to use their imaginations independently at their own grade level.

You can also choose the other objects that interest them. The best way to increase fine motor skills is to create more, and these manipulatives will continue to help my students become stronger in the skill. My students have already shown an amazing interest in independent art, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with art and its diversity
