Our students are amazing, creative, smart, kind, and full of energy. They come from a variety of backgrounds and our goal is to give them a learning environment that works best for their needs. We have found that teaching students with hands-on materials give them important skills that they will need throughout their life.
Our students are eager to learn and I want to give them the materials that they need in order to keep that positive school attitude.
Due to this excitement for learning, we have created a new program at our school - STEM. Pre-K through eighth grade students are participating in hands-on learning projects based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This is now a regular special along with PE, art, and music. We are thrilled that our students are given this unique opportunity and I am very proud to be the STEM teacher!
My Project
My students need an iPad case and green & blue screen equipment so they can create their own diversity and inclusion movies. We have a daily moral focus assembly that staff and students present at. I would like my students to create moral focus movies using iPads, tripods, microphones, blue screens, and the Chromakey Green Screen Photo Video Lighting Kit. Their movies would need to show how we can include everyone or how to respect and showcase the diversity in our school. We would then show these movies during our morning moral focus assemblies.

The iPads will record the video, the tripods will hold the iPads steady, the microphones will help pick up the sound, the green screens will help with creating different backgrounds, and the lightning will help it look great. I can't wait to be able to teach my students about videography while creating meaningful moral focus movies. Thank you for helping to make this dream a reality.
