My Project

Hello! Let me tell you about my wonderful Pre-K students. They love books! They love being read to, they love retelling stories, and they really love using storytelling props. My PreK students come from low-income households and/or English is their second language, and books provide them with great opportunities to learn, explore, and build their vocabularies.

My students are interested in learning more about wearing a hijab.

The book and storytelling kit for, Under My Hijab, will help answer some of their questions and give my students the opportunity to see a wider majority of our community represented in our class library.

I hope you strongly consider donating to my wonderful Pre-K students and filling their need for knowledge and understanding. Thank you!
