My students need two new novels to prepare for the Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition Test.

My Students

My senior Advanced Placement students are focused on getting ready for all that college has to offer! Our class strives to analyze relevant, diverse and current readings to broaden their literary horizons and challenge themselves in order to be as prepared for the next phase of their education as possible.

For many students in the Dundalk community, affording college seems like on impossible goal.

Earning college credit through Advanced Placement classes cuts down on expenses and helps prepare students for college.

My Project

Students will study these novels in preparation for the Advanced Placement English Literature and Composition test in order to gain college credit as high school seniors.

The test is shifting towards a more diverse novel list, so these novels will allow students to study novels from a female and a Native American author to diversify perspectives and literary techniques studied.

These current readings will help ensure students are as prepared as possible, while also injecting new passion and interest into the study of literature

Students taking an Advanced Placement course are highly motivated and they are preparing for their future college careers. Please consider supporting their goals and helping them experience diverse literature from two of the best current authors.
