Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students come from low-income households. We are very diverse. There is a correlation between low income students and low school grades. The students don't feel motivated to achieve and complete their work. In their minds, it's not their priority. Their point of view is completely understandable. This project was created with the purpose of motivating them to succeed by creating opportunities to receive the desired trinket. Adults get paid to work, some students need that extrinsic motivation to complete and surpass grade-level expectations. This project will provide those motivators.
