I teach 3rd grade in a rural area in Maine. My students come from a small school of 200 students. We have a variety of backgrounds. My hardworking students challenge themselves every day to be the best learners they can be. My students love learning, and love to be fully immersed in what they are learning!

My Project
For this project, I am looking to get new, diverse books to help my students during guided reading. I am looking for a range of books at different reading levels to support my students reading growth throughout the school year.
These books will be used to help fill the gaps caused by Covid-19 learning.
Some of the books I am looking for are diverse biographies to teach students about famous people in history, as well as other picture books to support reading lessons.
I am also looking for other resources to support guided reading, like bags to hold books, as well as binders to support instruction.
