My Project

This is my 2nd year as a 4th-grade teacher after years in Kindergarten. This grade level change meant I had to build a completely new classroom library appropriate for 4th-grade readers. Slowly I am creating a library that my students love to visit and explore.

I have a class full of eager students who love to read every chance they get!

I would love to provide them with new books to keep them excited about reading!

The books in this project include graphic novels, which are the most popular genre in our classroom. It also includes diverse and educational picture books. These books will allow me to read books that represent the cultures and backgrounds of the students in my classroom while supporting their literacy development!
