My Students
Our students love learning and creating. We have a very diverse population. We serve all the Kindergarten students in our district, so we are a very happy school.
My students are a very diverse population, in a high poverty school where all the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many students are participants in the backpack program.
Our students are happy and willing to learn, and teachers get and give many hugs. They love coming to school to learn in many different ways.
My Project
These books will be well-loved by my kindergarten and preschool students. We have a diverse population of students that need a variety of books on diversity. These books will offer my students more choices of books to check out.
Books on diversity will offer the students more choices and are important because they teach children about others. They help promote respect and empathy for all types of people. We need to offer books on diversity in our school library collection.
We want our students to feel safe and offer them diverse choices of books to check out. Many of our books have been checked out and will not be returned due to COVID-19.
