My Students

My students are avid readers who simply love books. Our classroom is full of diverse learners with a vast array of interests. There is nothing better than the genuine excitement they have when I introduce a new book! They love discussing and sharing their books with each other. Some of our favorites books never make their way back to the shelves.

My students have worked so hard to push themselves and they deserve some fresh books to reinvigorate their love of reading!

They cannot wait to get their hands on a beautiful new book.

My Project

These books will further diversify our classroom library and keep our readers enthusiastic about books. Many of these books belong to series that my students already love, so they are guaranteed to fly off the shelves!

Refreshing our library with new, diverse, high-interest books keeps the magic of reading alive in our classroom.

The freedom to choose high-interest books is essential in developing a child's identity as a reader. These new books will provide true joy to well-deserving children.

Finally, many of these books feature characters of color and strong female characters. It is important that students see themselves reflected in the books they read, so my mission is to keep my library as diverse as possible!
