My Project

These diverse books will be available in our classroom read aloud time. These multicultural stories will help our students feel included. Diverse books will help our students see themselves in the book. They will also help other students understand what life is like for others. Diverse books will help our students find a safe place to see it is okay to express their true identities.

These diverse books will help our classroom community build a compassionate and understanding environment.

Having multicultural books and purchasing learning materials from Teachers Pay Teachers will help my students learn and explore others' differences in their classroom and around the world. Continuing to utilize the powerful medium of art as a way to express, share, and understand cultures allows us to showcase the diversity of our community. These materials will also give the students a chance to share their daily experiences with others.
