Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our district believes that all schools should have safe, supportive, and inclusive places where students, families, and staff feel accepted, respected, and welcome! We are committed to providing inclusive practices and coordinated culturally responsive supports for our LGBTQ+ students and families across our district. All 7th - 12th graders in our district are invited to attend the Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA) hosted LGBTQ+ dance.

LGBTQ+ pride prizes like Progress Pride flag, neon rainbow light, diversity signs, LGBTQ+ journal, and more are needed for the GSA hosted dance.

We are seeking funding to support our two annual LGBTQ+ dances: Unity (middle school) and Love is Love (high school). These dances support student empowerment and our Gender and Sexualities Alliance Clubs (GSA). Your donation will provide meaningful prizes as giveaways to attending students.
