My Students

I work at a Title I STEM school that brings engineering ideas to life. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and ability levels. We offer free breakfast and lunch in order to start our students off on the right foot. My students work hard each and every day to learn.

My students bring many experiences, ideas, learning opportunities, and challenges to the classroom each day.

They learn each and every day and teach me a thing or two! They deserve an education and an educational environment that gives them the best.

My Project

The items I have chosen will help my students get through their anxiety. The weighted blanket will give them a calming, heavy feeling to feel secure. The yoga mat and wiggle seat will give the opportunity to move around when they are feeling overwhelmed. The journals will give them the opportunity to write down how they are feeling.

Learning how to cope with anxiety will help my students to succeed in the future.

These resources will help my students find a way to cope or distract themselves from their anxiety in order to be successful.
