Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school is a Urban school District, a lot of our family members have a hard time getting supplies for their child. During this time of distance learning I want to give my students opportunities to have the supplies that they need to allow them to continue to learn even at home.
My Project
I would love to drop of supplies to my students houses. With these supplies my students will be able to do their school work. They will use their notebooks and crayons and pencils to write everyday and draw a picture that matches their writing. When they are done they can send me a picture of their writings. They can also write their sight words and letters. I would love to give my students flash cards as well, I would give them a set of flash cards that best fit their readiness levels.
Play dough who doesn’t love play dough.
The students can use play dough to form letters and sight words. They will use their fine motor skills to play with the play dough and have fun while still learning. My students would love these materials to continue learning.
