Distant Learning Supplies for a Title 1 Teacher
Help me give my students the tools that I need for distant learning.
Like schools across the country we are doing distance learning. I am having to convert my garage into a classroom office. It has been a tough transition trying to acquire all the tools needed to be successful. Right now all I have is a laptop, but more will be needed.
No doubt this pandemic has made life tough for everyone involved in education. With having to teach and coach from home there is no doubt I need a few things to help in distance instruction.
As a coach and teacher, there are a few items that can help not just my students but athletes as well.
I will need an Apple TV and Mount to help stream my iPad to a TV screen when we can meet safely with our athletes. This way they can spread out and watch game film instead of having to stand right next to each other looking at an iPad. I am in need of a white board to hang up. This way I can draw up plays for my players during our web conferences. I can also draw up diagrams and notes for my students. I also need a document camera, and some new dry erase markers. The document camera is great for students to see my notes and share articles and other documents with them while distance learning.
These products will greatly help me for now, but can continue to use if and when we get back to regular school.
