Celebrate Black Teachers and Students
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are motivated learners even when they are learning from home. They come from a low income neighborhood where some families lack the materials needed for at-home learning. Many do not have access to technology to continue learning online.
With limited access to technology, most of my students, are depending on the workbooks that were sent home and what books, if any that they have at home.
Although, it has been challenging for my students they continue to be eager and motivated learners.
My Project
I am requesting a variety of different snacks for the students. Snacks such as, cookies, cereal, applesauce, fruit snacks, juice and chips. Schools are closed for the year and a lot of families depend on breakfast and lunch to be provided at school.
Please help me keep student's minds going and learning as they are provided with snacks.
I want to provide the students with extra food resources as they continue working hard from home.
Once the project is funded, I plan on contacting the parents so that I can deliver all of the snacks to the students.
