This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

There is nothing like a Champion and no place in the world like our Elementary School. Our students come from very diverse backgrounds and represent many different cultures. Our students are book lovers, creative thinkers, and want to impact the world in so many different ways.

My Project

Materials will support teaching and learning with the new transition to distance learning. Students will be receiving Chromebooks to support districts transition to distance learning due to COVID-19. Chart paper will be used to support lessons that will be pre-recorded or streamed live for students. Students will be able to use the headphones to interact virtually with teacher through Zoom during weekly classroom check ins and with the principal during school wide assemblies. Headphones will allow students an opportunity to limit distractions will working at home during the national pandemic.
