This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are good kids who lack technology in the classroom. I have mostly English-Language learners in my classes and they need more exposure to various technology applications that I cannot provide them currently. Many of them are inquisitive and want more exploration in different topics.

One aspect of working with EL students is that they need multiple presentations of topics.

They enjoy seeing the topics come to life in videos and applications that I have found to use for algebra such as Geogebra and Desmos.

My Project

We are embarking on distance learning for most of the remaining school year. It would be a great tool to have to use with my students as we have class chats and tutorials online so that they can clearly read my writing rather than decipher my mouse scribbles.

I teach a great deal of English-Language learners who spend their time trying their hardest just to read the English language.

My students do not need the added hassle of trying to make out the strange markings that my mouse makes from time to time on the worksheet.
