Help me give my students this workstation that will facilitate their online learning.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My students strive to do their best, under all circumstances. Although most of them are struggling with financial hardships, they strive to learn, regardless of the socioeconomic status they fall under. They are determined to be successful!
Like many teachers in this era of Covid-19, my classroom is now a distance learning center.
The technology in my classroom that was once adequate is now struggling to keep up with the new demands. My classroom is in need of a computer that will handle advanced video conferencing software, dual monitors and a document camera among the many peripherals.
Please help me to acquire this additional technology needed to provide my students with a reliable system that is necessary to make this happen.
This work station will be used specifically for the online learning of twenty-six students. Distance learning requires a work station that handle all of the necessary peripherals such as a document camera, a video camera, and the accompanying audio. It also requires the ability to to accommodate groups meetings such as Google Meet, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams without lag in the audio or video. Our classroom uses all three.
Having a workstation that prevents lag in audio and video is crucial when presenting lessons and material online.
This workstation fits that need perfectly. When there is no lag time, students are less likely to become distracted, enabling them to focus on the lesson at hand.
