Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Currently, with our classroom and school shut down, we continue to work online via distance learning. Some of the struggles that we are currently facing are lack of technology, limited internet resources, no books, no pencils, and no face-to-face interaction.
My Project
My students are working at home via distance learning. They are trying really hard to continue to work on things via Google Classroom. Some of my students do not have the option to use the internet and they do lack some basic materials to be successful. I am hoping that these supplies will be enough to keep them motivated and encourage them to keep working from home. I want them to feel like they are still in the classroom and to be comfortable working at home. I am hoping these materials will provide some normalcy to them as we venture into the unknown.
