Help me give my students access to curriculum they can mark-up. With distance learning I want them to continue to grow academically. They will be able to review math and phonics skills in pdf format.
My class is made up of 21 happy kiddos with many different needs. Most come from military families with parents who may be deployed at any given moment. They are full of energy and ready to learn.
I am teaching them to learn independence, challenge their learning and how to care for not just themselves but for others.
We are a family learning responsibility and how to be amazing students. The class comes from many different backgrounds and cultures which gives us a sneak peak into how big our world is and how well we can work together to grow into successful students.
My Project
Even students who may not be able to print will be able to continue to grow academically. It is true that many online platforms are benefiting from the current situation we are in. I would still love my students to continue to grow not only with technology but paper-pencil as well. The parents long for it and are requesting it. I know this works because I saw the success in our first three 3 weeks. The students were connecting and loving it. I hope this project affects so many more than my 20 little ones.
